Chemical and mechanical cleaning of the impluvium by opus sectile - that is spolied stone fragments and mosaic: I have eliminated the organic traces of mosses and other microorganisms, and the greenyellowstone concretions due to the presence of a water very rich in mineral. The pictures below show the impluvium before and after restoration.

Pulitura chimica e meccanica dell'impluvium in opus sectile, ovvero scaglie lapidee di spolio e tessere musive: ho eliminato le tracce di muschi e altri microrganismi organici, oltre alle concrezioni calcaree dovute alla presenza di un'acqua molto ricca di sali minerali. Le immagini mostrano l'impluvium prima e dopo il restauro.
