The 24th of September 2006 the 'First Digital Photo Marathon' by FNAC took place in Turin. I participated with a lot of enthusiasm, finding the theme 'Feeling the city: taste, light and movement' very interesting. The challenge was to find a picture that would contain and represent all the three elements at best: Taste, Light and Movement. The occasion happened after a filling breakfast at 'Bicerin' - one of the historical café in the city centre. When I went out I noticed the very famous pastille neon writing, so 'ghiotte fluorescenze' was born. It’s like a curious look toward the outside, the urban site, thought what makes it so pleasant, with its unique flavour, the pastry, alfresco bars, cafes, eventually glancing at the curved lines of the lighted neon whose pale pink light reminds of other famous flavours of Turin. The jury picked this photo out of 1000 entries for an exhibition with other 30 best pictures at the FNAC forum, then as one of the 10 most representative photos at Sestriere, Casa Olimpia.

In data 24 settembre 2006 si è svolta la “Prima Maratona Fotografica Digitale” organizzata dalla FNAC di Torino, cui ho partecipato con entusiasmo trovando congeniale al mio carattere il tema 'sentire la città: sapore, luce e movimento'. Mi incuriosiva la sfida di trovare l’immagine che meglio racchiudesse e rappresentasse i tre elementi Sapore, Luce e Movimento. L’occasione è capitata dopo una sostanziosa colazione in uno dei locali storici del centro cittadino, il 'Bicerin', uscendo dal locale ho notato la scritta al neon delle altrettanto famose pastiglie così è nata 'ghiotte fluorescenze'. E’ come uno sguardo curioso verso l’esterno, la città, attraverso ciò che la rende così gradevole, con quel sapore unico, la pasticceria, i dehors, i caffé, infine lo sguardo si posa sulle linee curve del neon acceso la cui luce rosa pallida rimanda a ben altri noti sapori torinesi. La giuria ha selezionato questa foto tra 1000 altre e l’ha proposta per una mostra con i primi 30 scatti migliori, tenutasi al forum della FNAC. In seguito è stata esposta al Sestriere, a Casa Olimpia come una delle 10 fotografie più rappresentative della mostra di Torino.
