Flower kiosk proposal, Italy, 2003
When a friend of mine asked me to design a small kiosk for selling flowers, I developed this scheme for her. While closed, it looks like a dark wooden cube, while when it opens, two large printed pictures help signalling its the presence. Daylight filters into the box through the specially shaped roof.Unfortunately building regulations in Turin central area do not permit any modern architectural design, so eventually I had to choose an old-style model from the town catalogue.

Proposta per un chiosco per fiori, Italia, 2003
Quando una mia amica mi ha chiesto di progettare un piccolo chiosco per la vendita dei fiori in aree urbane, ho sviluppato questo progetto. Quando è chiuso, appare come un cubo di legno scuro, mentre quando è aperto due grandi immagini stampate contribuiscono a segnalarne la presenza senza bisogno delle solite scritte commerciali. La luce filtra dentro il cubo attraverso il tetto appositamente studiato.
